After volunteering in prison ministry for over 20 years, Ron teamed up with BASICS in 2007 to become involved on a full time basis. My main focus and mission is to present God's saving Gospel to those behind bars through Bible study, worship services an "one on one" counseling sessions, and to provide effective pathway for inmates to transition from being "on the inside" to prepare and adjust for living "on the outside".

PRAYER NEEDS:

• Not neglect my roles as husband to my wife,Alice, as father and as grandfather, while "being about our Father's business"
• To be always able to present the Gospel in a clear and concise manner in all its truth
• Discernment in identifying those inmates who are sincere in their desire to change and to counsel accordingly
• Discernment in referring individuals to specific aftercare ministries that partner with BASICS such as Prison Aftercare Network (PAN), Salvation Army, HeartFire Ministries, Hope Street and various local churches.
