All submittals will be reviewed and approved by BASICS’ Leadership using the following rules:

• Contents of the message will be edited by BASICS to insure clear, concise and accurate contents.
  
  
• The message must meet the intent of each category.
  
• Messages are not to involve financial or monetary interactions.  Fundraising initiatives are not allowed.
   
• All ‘Alerts’, ‘Ministry Needs’, messages must pertain to ministry activities related to churches or outreach ministries… not individuals outside of ministry.
  
  
• Items Available’ messages can be submitted by anyone.

Messages will remain on the web page until:

• The objective of the message has been achieved as determined by follow-up calls to the submitter.
  
  
• The submitter requests removal.
  
  
• The message displayed on the web page exceeds three months.
  
• BASICS will attempt to inform readers of outcomes for one month if we are so informed by the submitters.

For donors desiring a letter recognizing their gift for IRS donation purposes, BASICS’ Gift in Kind donation form must be returned to BASICS after it has been completed by the donor and signed by the recipient acknowledging the transfer of the item.  (Gift in Kind form)
